Michael T. Soberick, Jr

Michael Soberick, Jr. lives in Newport News and is the father of two boys, Luke and David and a daughter named Annie. He has been married to Joan Soberick since June 2017. They also have a dog named Reese. Michael is originally from Gloucester and spent his high school years Williamsburg. He studied Marine Biology and English at UNC-Wilmington before getting his law degree at Florida Coastal School of Law. Michael graduated with cum laude honors at both schools. He has been licensed to practice law in Virginia since 2011.

Michael spent 7 years at Dusewicz & Soberick before gaining extensive experience in personal injury litigation as In-House Counsel with Progressive Insurance. He returned to Dusewicz & Soberick in July 2021. He brings extensive criminal law, general civil law and personal injury litigation experience to the firm.

Michael is also a competitive distance runner, sailor, boater, tennis player and golfer. He attends West Hampton Baptist Church and runs the sound board during services. He brings a diverse background of life and professional experience to Dusewicz & Soberick.
